Open a project from source control
Open a project from source control in order to download it to your computer.
To perform this task, you must be connected to your collaboration server.
Since the point of collaboration is to collaborate with the other developers in your team, you may occasionally need to get projects that they have added to source control. You may also need to get a new branch that you have created.
To open a project from source control:
- Click the Application button (at the top-left of the development environment), and then on the Application menu, click Open Project > Open Project from Collaboration. The Select Project page is displayed, listing all of the IWS projects in the Team Foundation Server team project to which you are connected.
- Select a project from the list, and then click OK.
